Grandfathered Status in Healthcare Reform

Employer health plans can avoid the impact of the 2010 healthcare reform legislation and its requirements if they maintain a “grandfathered” health plan. If your health plan was in existence on March 23, 2010, it is generally eligible for grandfathered plan status.
